Photography is a great passion of mine, and when i’m not telling someone else’s story, which I love doing by the way, I use film to tell mine. Back in April we went down to London, something we like to do a lot, I loaded up my late 70’s Olympus film camera and documented our trip. I’ll have to be honest, we forgot that the extinction revolution protests were happening, but this was a welcome surprise, it’s a righteous cause anyway.
Shooting film is a combination of choosing your moment, slowing down to get everything right, i’m only limited by my desire to get coffee or food or both. This is great practice for my professional work, it trains my mind widen my perspective when creating and keep my eye on the end goal.
